Aradia™ Fitness Pole Dancing and Sensual Movement Classes for Fitness

Remember there are 2 locations.  Check carefully in the name of the class will denote the location it is being held in.

** IMPORTANT ** Clients who are a first-time visitor to Aradia Fitness or Brass Belles, but already have pole dance experience, should email us at info@brassbelles.ca prior to your first class for an email consultation & level placement. We welcome pole enthusiasts from near & far to train with us at Aradia Fitness & Brass Belles!

 

Pole Dancing Classes

POLE 1

Pole 1 class is the perfect introduction to Pole Dance & Sensual Movement for fitness! You will be introduce to foundational pole dance techniques & exercises. Clients will also learn a variety of pole dance spins & transitions and how to them together into mini choreographies.

Clients must attend a minimum of eight (8) classes of Pole 1 & complete an assessment before being eligible to “Level Up” to Pole 2.

Prerequisite: There is no prerequisite for this class. 

Need to Know: Come dressed for yoga, in comfortable leggings or yoga pants, a tank top and bare feet. No special shoes or equipment are required.
Be sure to bring a bottle of water and leave your jewelery at home.

POLE 2

In Pole 2, clients continue to explore more challenging spins, tricks & transitions and are introduced to pole climbing, sitting and inverting.  We will begin to phase out the sexy yoga-fusion workout and transition to more strength-training using the pole. Pole 2 is based on a 4-week lesson plan rotation.

Clients must attend a minimum of eight (8) classes of Pole 2 prior to “Level Up” to Pole 3.

Prerequisite: Prerequisite to attend Pole 2 classes is completion of a Pole 1 “Level Up” assessment or have instructor approval before attending any Pole 2 class.

BEGINNER POLE 

Beginner Pole is a mixed level pole class for beginner pole students in Pole 1 or Pole 2.  Topics covered will be techniques from these levels.  This less formal class gives clients an extra, guided pole workout geared specifically for beginner level students.

Attendance in Beginner Pole will count towards the eight (8) class minimum for Pole 1 or Pole 2 “Level Up” assessments.

Prerequisite: To attend a Beginner Pole class completion of at least one Pole 1 class or instructor approval is requoired.

POLE 3

In Pole 3 clients are introduced to flying high on the pole as we continue to invert and climb!  All that hard work in Pole 1 and Pole 2 will pay off as you tackle even more challenging spins, tricks and transitions.  Instructors will also begin to transition clients to “freestyle” dancing where you will learn how to effortlessly put everything you know together into your own dance style.

Clients must attend a minimum of eight (8) classes of Pole 3 prior to eligible to “Level Up” to Pole 4.

Prerequisite: Completion of a Pole 2 “Level Up” assessment or have instructor approval before attending any Pole 3 class.

POLE 4

In Pole 4, clients are challenged even more as we begin to tackle static aerial holds using different parts of our body, such as inner thighs and hips.  The spins, transitions and strength work become increasingly more challenging as we continue to prepare clients for more advanced levels.

Clients must attend a minimum of eight (8) classes of Pole 4 prior to eligible to “Level Up” to Pole 5.

Prerequisite: Completion of a Pole 3 “Level Up” assessment or instructor approval before attending any Pole 4 class.

INTERMEDIATE POLE

Intermediate Pole is a mixed level pole class for intermediate pole students in Pole 3 or Pole 4.  Topics covered will be techniques from these levels.  This less formal class gives clients an extra, guided pole workout geared specifically for intermediate level students.

Prerequisite: Completion of Pole 2 “Level Up” assessment.  Attendance in Intermediate Pole will count towards the eight (8) class minimum for Pole 3 or Pole 4 “Level Up” assessments.

POLE 5

Welcome to Pole 5 – a high flying composition of challenging new thigh & hip holds, impressive spins and intense strength building techniques.

Clients must attend a minimum of eight (8) classes of Pole 5 prior to eligible to “Level Up” to Pole 6.

Prerequisite: Completion of a Pole 4 “Level Up” assessment or have instructor approval before attending any Pole 5 class.

POLE 6

In this level, you will be challenged even more with advanced spins, tricks & transitions.  You will learn new ways of climbing and inverting on the pole as well as truly acrobatic aerial static holds.  Your strength & flexibility will continue to grow as your prepare to enter the creme de la creme of Aradia Fitness pole classes… Pole 7!  Pole 6 is based on a 4-week lesson plan rotation.

Clients must attend a minimum of eight (8) classes of Pole 6 prior to eligible to “Level Up” to Pole 7.

Prerequisite: Completion of a Pole 5 “Level Up” assessment or have instructor approval before attending any Pole 6 class.

Pole 7

In Pole 7, instructors will cover various topics from pole techniques, new combos, drops & handsprings, acrobatic floor work and more.

Prerequisite: Completion of a Pole 6 “Level Up” assessment or have instructor approval before attending any Pole 7 class.

ADVANCED POLE

Advanced Pole is a mixed level pole class for advanced pole students in Pole 5, Pole 6 or Pole 7.  Topics covered will be techniques from these levels.  This less formal class gives clients an extra, guided pole workout geared specifically for advanced level students.

Prerequisite: Completion of Pole 4 “Level Up” assessment.  Attendance in Advanced Pole will count towards the eight (8) class minimum for Pole 5 or Pole 6 “Level Up” assessments.

BOOT CAMP

Co-Ed Boot Camp classes are an open-level class that will focus heavily on the strength training, technique and fitness elements of pole dance… you will not see high heels or sensual dancing in this class.

POLE PRACTACE

Drop-in for some open pole time to practice your spins and tricks!  Open Pole is an informal class with no new instruction given.  An Aradia Fitness instructor will be present to assist you with questions or tips on the pole dance moves in your current registered level. Pole practice is reserved for current pole clients only

OPEN POLE

Drop-in for some open pole time to practice your spins and tricks!  Open Pole is an informal class with no new instruction given.  An Aradia Fitness instructor will be present to assist you with questions or tips on the pole dance moves in your current registered level. Pole practice is reserved for current pole clients only – NEW CLIENTS with no pole experience should instead attend our Pole 1 class.

Fitness Classes

*Our fitness classes vary month to month based on attendance, new class ideas, and interest from our students. Pre-registration is required for all classes.

Flex-Ability

Believe it or not, stretching actually releases endorphins! It also helps prevents injury, increases range of motion, balance, circulation, and energy, and, of course, makes you more flexible! Whether you are looking to relax your hard worked muscles or want to push your body into deep stretching & contortion… this is the class for you!
Need to Know: Dress comfortably in yoga pants and a t-shirt. No shoes necessary.
