I had almost one year break from pole fitness when moving to Toronto from Halifax. I almost forgot all the moves. The first session at Aradia, I expected to learn the very basic moves. However, our instructor, Joni Franciskovic, taught us some of the basic spins after stretching. The class became more exciting! She also encouraged me to try to repeat the moves that I’ve learned before and I successfully did it with her instruction. It’s like riding a bicycle or swimming, we gained the muscle memories. And with the right instruction, we can get back to them fairly quickly. I felt very grateful and excited that I’ve accomplished much more than expected on the very first day at Aradia Fitness.
